On example of Social Category in the movie would be when all the lions are sleeping in Pride Rock and all of the other animals sleep somewhere else. This represents the upper class and the lower class. 

An example of a Dyad in the Lion King would Timon and Pumba before the met Simba. 

An example of a Triad would be Timon, Pumba, and Simba. 

A small group in the Movie would when Simba and his gang went off to fight off Scar. This group was made up of Nala, Rafiki, Timon, Pumba, and himself. 

An example of a formal group in The Lion King would be when the kingdom was under Mufasa's rule, it all ran under the Circle of Life. 

An example of an informal group would be when the kingdom was under Scar's rule, is had no plan just kill anything is sight, it was complete chaos. Another example of an informal group would be Timon and Pumba, the didn't have any rules, and only lived under Hakuna Matata.

Simba's primary groups would be Timon and Pumba 

Simba's secondary groups would be his family. 

The reference groups would the lionesses because they would of taught Simba how to act and think like a lion.

The In-groups would also be the lionesses because it it where Simba belongs 

The out-groups would be Timon and Pumba because this group is where Simba doesn't not belong. He is supposed to be King.
